Sour Cream Cutout Cookies

Ingredients

Dough

• 1 cup margarine, softened
• 1 3⁄4 cup sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1⁄2 tsp salt
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 2 tsp vanilla
• 1 cup sour cream
• 4 1⁄2 cup flour

Icing

• 1 cup crisco
• 1⁄2 tsp salt
• 1 tsp vanilla
• Few drops butter flavor
• 1⁄2 cup hot water
• 2 lbs. powdered sugar

Instructions

Beat butter, sugar & eggs. Add in remaining ingredients. Chill for 1 hour or overnight. Roll out & use favorite cookie cutters. Bake at 350°F until the edges start to brown slightly. Do not overbake. Frost with my favorite icing or icing of your choice!
