Pierogi Dough

Learn to make classic pierogi dough with just four simple ingredients. Mix, knead, rest, and roll for a perfect base to fill with your favorite ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups flour (500g)all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup + 2.5 Tbsp water (280g)
  • 3 tablespoons butter (40g)or vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

Mix all ingredients & let dough knead for 4-5 minutes. Let rest for 30 minutes & roll out. Cut out circles (I use a biscuit cutter but anything works) & fill with your favorite filling.

I put mine directly on parchment lined trays & into the freezer.

To use right away, put into boiling water for a few minutes then into a pan with butter for a few minutes.
